Major: Business Management

Tribe: Yakama Nation

Hometown: Wapato, WA

I am from the small Yakama Reservation, more specifically Wapato, WA. I am an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation. I am a senior at Washington State University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. I chose to attend WSU because I felt at home on campus visits. I was offered a ton of help from different resources on campus that would later help me succeed in the long run. WSU also has a Native community which was important for me to keep in touch with my culture ties and heritage. Some activities I am involved in on campus include being a member of the First Scholars Program and also the Tribal Nations Building Leadership Program. I also volunteer my time for First-Gen Abroad and other initiatives such as Lead the Legacy. I am also a Benjamin Gilman Scholarship Alumni who now promotes the Gilman scholarship to WSU Native Students.

Three fun facts about me:

  1. I was named after the pink power ranger.
  2. I have traveled to Morocco.
  3. And lastly, I hate olives and pickles.
