Native Youth Sports Summit

The Native Youth Sports Summit is an opportunity for aspiring Native athletes to learn the realities of playing sports at a collegiate level.  WSU Native athletes, from a variety of sports, will share their experiences, and discuss what it takes to succeed in college as a student athlete.  Sports Summit participants will also be given free tickets to attend the WSU vs. UW baseball game.

AGE: Grades 6-12

WHEN: Friday, April 21, 2017

AGENDA:

  • 2 -3pm, Panel of Athletes 
  • 3-4pm, Campus Tour
  •  5pm, WSU vs. UW baseball game

COST: FREE! Includes ticket to the game!

LOCATION: Bohler Building, Washington State University, Pullman, WA

NOTE: Staying the night Friday? Make a sports-filled weekend of it and also attend the Crimson and Gray football scrimmage on Saturday at Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane. Activities start at 11:30am and the scrimmage begins at 2pm!
