Film Showing: The Blackfeet Flood

This film recaps the disaster of the June 1964 flood, when heavy rains and two dams collapsed in northwestern Montana, which resulted in deaths of many and relocation of hundreds on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. The film goes on to track the lives of two families struggling to reconcile with the flood’s lasting trauma. There will be a film screening of “The Blackfeet Flood” and a Q&A with producers to follow.
